Our production and recording studios are a fun, relaxed environment where people feel comfortable creating and expressing ideas. Physically located in the heart of Nashville, TN, we are proud to be a center for its unmatched community of musicians and artists.
Studio A features 5 big recording spaces including a newly added orchestra-size room, a piano room (with a Yamaha grand, Wurlitzer, Rhodes and a Farfisa!), and two comfortable lounges. Other resident instruments include a Hammond B-3, Pearl maple and vintage Ludwig drum kits, vintage guitars and guitar amps by Fender, Vox and Marshall.
Our new Studio D has a spacious control room featuring an 80-input Soundcraft 3200 desk, Protools HDX, and fully isolated overdub booth.
Studios B and C are small production suites for editing and overdubbing.

Neve Control Room
Control Room A
Centered around a 60 input Neve V series console is a collection some of the best analog and digital gear available: over 100 mic preamps, monitoring by Blue Sky, compressors by dbx, Urie, Avalon and Tube-Tech, and custom made limiters and tube preamps built right here at the studio. Add in a 40 input Protools HDX rig loaded with plug-ins and a Studer A827 2″ and anything is possible.

The Big Room at DRR&P set up for a small orchestra session
The Big Room at Studio A
One of the largest recording rooms in Nashville, this 55′ x 25′ tracking space with 22′ foot ceilings has a nice, smooth reverb tail that makes it a very musical space for recording orchestra (it can easily hold 45 – 50 musicians), choir, drums… whatever! Built in it’s own completely isolated, floating building, this room is one of the quietest around.

Live Room A1 at Dan Rudin's Recording Studio
Studio A1
A musical, ambient tracking space. At roughly 480 square feet, the mixture of natural wood, soft acoustic walls and concrete floor make this a killer room for drums and percussion, but it is controllable enough to record great vocals in as well. A1 also has a large iso booth that we use for amps, acoustic guitar and acoustic bass.

Live Room A2 at Dan Rudin's Recording Studio
Studio A2
A large and versatile room. With 14′ ceilings and almost 500 square feet on the floor, this room has a lot of air to its sound. A large 4′ x 8′ window opens to the Big Room and full-lite glass doors to the Control Room and Piano Room make for great visual communication. Home to our Hammond B-3, it’s a busy space in the studio.
And, with more than 40 vintage and new microphones, we make sure that great sound in the room makes it through to mix.

Studio D Mix Room
Studio D
Studio D is a fully equipped tracking and mix room. The control room boasts an 80-input Soundcraft 3200 desk, Pro Tools HDX and a collection of vintage outboard. In addition to a spacious overdub booth, it has 24 tie lines and cue connections to the Big Room for the ability to track sessions of almost any size. With Blue Sky monitors and a plug-in set identical to Studio A’s, sessions can move effortlessly between Studios A and D for maximum efficiency.
Making it doesn’t always have to be.
