Tools for connecting globally with clients and talent

dan rudin radio page

Our password protected Radio page enables clients to remotely listen to progress on their projects. Featuring a real-time, high quality stereo audio stream and an integrated Jabber chat room, clients can monitor and participate in sessions from anywhere in the world. Singer in NYC, drummer in Miami, Manager in Milan? No problem! Everyone logs in and chats directly to our studio and each other, all from a web browser.

My on-site FTP server is a good way to exchange large numbers of files. There are no limits on file size or number of files. It is easy to use and can be accessed from the link above or with any FTP client. User names and passwords are issued on a per-project basis.

If you choose to use an ftp client, for MacOS I recommend using Fetch ($25) or Cyberduck (free)
For Windows I like CoffeeCup Free FTP 4.0

Source-Connect enables audio connections between digital audio systems anywhere in the world, allowing direct-to-the-timeline recording with real-time, broadcast-quality audio using only T1, Cable, or DSL internet connections.

This e-solution lets me interface with studios and talent all over the world.

You can find me on iMessage and Skype for chat and you can drag and drop files for quick exchange.

Hightail is an online file exchange service. Slower than our ftp server, but a super simple option.
