Like all of our Theatrical Reference recordings, our School Edition (these are generally edited from the full version for length, choreography and extreme vocal challenges) recordings give theatre companies of all levels of experience a most accurate example of how the work might be performed. It's quite an honor when Cameron Mackintosh trust you with one of his shows. With the orchestra under the baton of James Lowe, who was also conducting the show on Broadway, we were proud to produce a recording that will hopefully inspire and inform actors, directors and orchestras who perform this work for decades to come.
