Collaborating with book writer Timothy Allen McDonald and composers Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, we produced a studio recording of this new work, as well as Full-length, One Act and Junior versions for theatrical licensing.
With Orchestrations by August Eriksmoen and frequent DRRP collaborator David Weinstein (who also conducted the orchestra and vocal sessions), we achieved a score that is as broad and wacky as the Roald Dahl book itself.
Our cast was a Broadway who's-who, with Megan Hilty, Christian Borle, Daniel Breaker, Mary Testa, Jackie Hoffman, Brian D'Arcy James, Sarah Stiles, Marc Kudisch, and Luca Padovan as James.
